Our Birch Tar Tallow Soap is handcrafted with grass-fed tallow and birch tar that we personally dry distill, creating a simple, earthy bar with a distinctive smoky, woodsy character. Made without essential oils or added fragrance, this bar lets the natural character of birch tar take center stage.

Please note - birch tar has a naturally strong scent, much like a campfire.

Birch Tar: Traditionally used in herbal and folk skincare, birch tar has a long history in traditional soapmaking. Our birch tar is distilled in-house, allowing us to incorporate this unique botanical material directly into the bar.

Grass-Fed Tallow: A traditional soapmaking ingredient that creates a hard, long-lasting bar with a rich, creamy lather and a wonderfully conditioned skin feel.

RITUAL

Wet your skin and bar with warm water.

Work the soap between your hands or directly onto wet skin to create a rich, creamy lather.

Gently massage over the skin and rinse thoroughly.

As always, our bars are created WITHOUT the use of Palm, Soy or Nut Oils. They are crafted with only high-quality, sustainable fats and oils. To maintain our commitment to provide safe and effective products, we use only natural colorants – such as clays, dried plants, and charcoal. For our scented varieties, we use only high-quality essential oils, while also offering unscented options.

To extend the life of your soap, keep it dry between uses and store it on a soap dish. For longer-lasting enjoyment, feel free to cut the bar in half.
